Using now version 2.0. Got screwed up after Camera Raw did a major revision from Lr 1.3 to 1.4.
The trick was to darken my monitor since I was seeing the same issues from Ps too. What I surmised is that the Huey Pro doesn't really handle the brightness setting that well.
Fix
a) Changed Brightness all the way down to 0 on my LCD panel and also adjusted contrast to minimum.
b) Turned OFF room brightness adjustment feature of Huey Pro.
